The Wonderful Grace Of God Text: Titus 2:11 IBCSWS December 20, 2020 Preacher: Pastor Jose B. Cabajar The grace of God is so great and wonderful. Its unbelievable benefit to fallen human race is beyond man’s comprehension. The Bible Says in Titus 2:11, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV) By the grace of God, sinful man became hopeful and the solution to his greatest need which is salvation has been provided perfectly. By the grace of God, every good thing we don’t deserve became achievable through our Lord Jesus Christ. In I Corinthians 15:10, the Apostle Paul said, But by the grace of God I am what I am: and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. (KJV) James 4:6 Behind who we are today and the great things we have achieved is undeniably the grace of God. In I Timothy 1:13-14, it is written, Who was before a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and injurious: but I obtained mercy, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief. 14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus. (KJV) Truly, the grace of God is greater than all our sins. What a blessing we have in Christ! As we go through this Christmas Season, we must be mindful of God’s saving-grace through faith in Christ. (I) Through Christ’s Incarnation Titus 2:11 John 1:14 Christ’s manifestation in the flesh is yet to be understood by many people who are ignorant concerning God’s great salvation so rich and free. In John 1:14, it is written, And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. (KJV) The Bible says in I Timothy 3:16, And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (KJV) This passage reminds us of God’s wonderful act so we may have hope of salvation. -Brought salvation to the lost and dying world Luke 2:11 Without Christ, salvation is unattainable in any way; but we thank God because He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever puts his trust on Him will enjoy God’s great deliverance. In Luke 2:11, the Bible says, For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. (KJV) This Christmas season reminds us how wonderful the birth of Christ is for the benefit of the whole world. Acts 4:12 The Bible Says in Titus 2:11, For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, (KJV) This hope-giving passage will give us understanding of how gracious our Heavenly Father is. It should be our prayer that God will open the spiritual eyes of the lost so they may not overlook God’s grace that brings salvation to fallen man.
Ephesians 2:8, 9 I Peter 1:8, 9 The role of grace in man’s salvation is undeniably wonderful. The Apostle Paul wrote the believers in Ephesus and emphatically reminded them that salvation is not by works but by grace through faith in Christ. In Ephesians 2:8, it is written, For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (KJV) Spiritual insights to live by: Pondering God’s grace in our hearts this Christmas season will surely lead us to be more appreciative of God’s undeserved favor. As a great result, our faith in Him will become stronger. Being aware that by the grace of God, we are what we are today will stir our souls to keep on singing “Amazing Grace” for the glory of God. In John 1:16, it is written, And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. (KJV) May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be manifested through our lives continually till His glorious coming. |
